Public Communication
■ Publicity activities for industry and educational institutions
The number of institutions providing engineering programs at the bachelor level in Japan is about 230, and over 1,000 engineering programs are offered. Based on the principle that “Quality assurance and quality improvement in education is a duty of educational institutions in ensuring their accountability to society”, JABEE supports the improvement of engineering education at institutions of higher education while respecting the diversity and originality of the programs. In addition, JABEE holds symposiums, workshops and lecture meetings to foster collaboration with industry in human resources development.
